I am about to audition for pageant. Shouldnt it be free?

WellI am about t audition for my first pageant ever. Ive never done this sort of thing so iwas wondering is there supposed to be a registration fee of 150 bucks?? Well thats IF I do make it and become a contestant where i have to pay this fee. Is this a normal thing to have to pay a fee when ur picked t be a contestant or should it be free??

  1. Yeah...you ALWAYS have to pay a fee.   With all the money spent on the pageants, I don't think the people who run it see it as a problem.
