I am about to buy a dodge intrepid 03 does anyone no if the trannys have problems like they did in the 98 yr

i heard that this kind of car had transmission problems in the yr. of 96-98 does anyone no if they do in the year of 03

no it wont they changed it

The transmissions in the 96-98 models would go before 100k miles.  I had an 03 that I drove to 115k and never had a single problem out of it.  It was a great car.

dude all dodge transmistions have problems

ironicly REBUILT transmissions are better than NEW transmissions for dodge

the 03 models aren't causing as many problems as the older model ones did,they was trouble from the beginning,you,ll get a lot better service from the newer ones than the older ones,some people have had really good luck from the old ones though,have one checked though before you buy it just to be sure,good luck with it.
