Question:

I am about to buy an electric guitar.I am really quite serious about it.?

I am willing to practice for about 5-6 hours a day. I can already sing quite well and am interested in making a living from music. I am nearly 15 yrs old and am interested in in rock,punk,metal etc. any advice as I am teaching myself. Am I expecting to much bcause I really am willing to go to any lengths to succeed. Please I just need some help.

  1. i'm 13 and have been playing guitar for quite some time now and i've played lots of high quality guitars i play and listen to the same music your interested in and would recommend a Gibson Les Paul or an old Kramer if you can find one. I play an '86 Fender Stratocaster they aren't normally used for metal and rock but i got one because of there versatility. I play blues,rock , and metal on it.  

    And your not expecting to much as long as  you practice as much as possible you can make it. trust me i've just been playing for just over a year but i stay up as late as i can(by that i mean until my parents make me go to bed) practicing. I was playing in a guitar shop in a town that ive never actually stopped in and a crowd surrounded me and they actually asked me ,a 13 year old guitarist that had only been playing for about a year, to come back the next weekend.
