I am about to be violated for the second time on my probation in Oakland County Michigan and I know the judge is going to sentence me to jail. I've never been to jail and don't know what to expect at all!!! Please can someone explain to me the procedures followed after being taken to jail. Like what happens when you first arrive, and what is an average day like? Do you get good time for a chance to get out early? HELP!!

  1. Yeah, theres like gangs there.

And they will kill you just cause they can, because they have nothing to loose.

  2. More than likely, you will end up going to county lock up. It isn't prison, which is typically where you would go if you ended up doing serious time. County isn't as bad, but you are still in with bad element.

IDK what the procedures are but I suggest that you have a back up plan for bail if it gets offered to you.

  3. if the judge sentences you to county time 90 days or less this is what happens

the bring you in to a holding cell with other guys .and you wait there untill they call your name .you come out they finger print you and take your picture and book you in you take a shower and put on a your dress outs go back in the cell untill they take you to the block or dorm where you will be doing the rest of your stay there is nothing to it its just like being at home but with alot more people around ,watching tv ,playing cards, talking and shooting the $hit ,but you just cant leave eat ,or do what you want when you want,,no big deal

  4. Sorry but watch your back
