Okay i have been depressed for about 8 years....I am a shy guy who has a very low self rating.....i have the lowest confidence of any person you will ever meet...(only slightly exaggerating)....so now i get into this school in the heart of Chicago....and I am thinking that if i go there....which is a completely different environment then my current suburban life....then the city might breath some life into me....that somehow i might be rejuvenated ....somehow i might be able to live....I have been depressed for 8 years...the better part of my youth....Not a day goes by where i don't feel bad about myself.....Do you think moving to chicago is the right choice?

  1. If you been depressed for 8 years then you should be taking medicine for it. Moving wont cure your depression. It is a chemical in balance in your brain.I take meds and I'm doing great now. See a doctor or if your on meds then there not working. There are many different meds for depression.

  2. Yes, definitely.  I think in your case, any sort of change might help you feel better.  I know suburban life can get really frustrating at times.
