  1. I can totally understand.  I am turning 28 this year and still haven't figured out what I want to do.  I can't really give you any advice since I'm totally lost still, but I just wanted to let you know that you definately are not alone in this feeling (although I still feel alone since all my friends have started careers and/or families and I'm still single).

  2. Try not to worry to much. Most people I know realized what they wanted to do after a few years of college. Just think of things you are good at and things you really like to do. Can you handle certain jobs? Is it something you are interested in? There are so many choices and all you need to do is narrow them down to the things you like.

  3. This is why they have Undecided majors at colleges. At my university, which I would assume most universities and colleges do the same is let you be undecided until your junior year (when your pretty much done with all the general education requirements). Many schools require you take a broad range of classes, which helps a lot of people make a decision on what they want to do. Do something that you like and is realistic. I've often heard Communication is something you can major in and find a broad range of jobs, so that is always an option if that interests you.

  4. This happens to lots of people. Take electives that you are interested in. Join a club. Be social. You will be exposed to lots of ideas in college. Remain open to them. Talk this over with a good guidance councelor.

  5. I was talking with someone the other day and they told me "you are lucky you know what you want to do, but if you happen to loose sight of that look into the Peace Corps".

I see a lot of Peace Corps people and the life style and just the experience will help you find yourself for sure. The reason I know what I want to do is because I have lived not a similar life style by far but I have seen the many cultures and lifestyles around the world. And I have learned a lot about myself by living oversea's.

You should deff look into it :] it just may be your thing :]

  6. You're still young :-) dont worry about it too much at this point.   Tons of people are also in your position.  I had the same problem as you, everyone I knew already determined what they wanted to do for the rest of their lives. but once when they got into college, a good portion of them changed their decision after the first two years.

You should research about different jobs online.  The more you know, the better. :-)
