Get a game like 'how to solve a murder' role-play party game for teens.

There's many themes, like vampires/werewolves, aliens, etc.

The game is inexpensive; but a party for 20 people won't be, regarding food.

Arrange a picnic with some disposable tableware, BBQ theme would be the best.... For disposable tableware and decoration, I found this site very good:

i suggest the following...

1) music surround system or atleast a super stereo

2) ignore the birthday cake better if you want it to be rather non religious

3) diet pepsi and coke is a must

4) pizza if you want many but atleast a few is a must for a party

5) get your mom to be extra active and more talketive... tell her to make hot chocolate

and others that you want...

Do some party foods..as in chips, dips...your bday cake..maybe some finger sandwiches and pizza... it doesn't have to be pizza hut pizza,.sodas...or have your mom to do a barbaque.. and make it potluck , if you got some family coming over that would love to help...rent a pool area after or before the party for your friends... or if you have a beach close by go there before or after the party... My daughter turns 17 this month also... shes wanting family there so.. we are going to do the potluck barbaque....and then maybe let her friends go to a pool..sense we have not beaches here.
