on what it is like there, any tips for an American. Things I should have when I cross the border (I have a passport). I'm moving with a friend and he lives on S. Wellington, is that a nice area? Also what does it take to get stuff moved up there, citizenships? Any tips and advice welcome, thanks ^-^

  1. My mom lives there, and i live in Oakville. Hamilton smells a little bit, not alot, but you get used to it while you are driving there, so you wont really smell it, but if you go somewhere not in hamilton, others will. but there are alot of cool stuff to do. parks, museums, forests, nice neighbourhoods, good schoold. A peaceful town.

  2. South Wellington is a pretty crappy area. In fact, anything not on the mountain is c**p. Hamilton is Canada's ghetto. It is over crowded, dank, with the Steel Mills pumping out pollution. Convince your friend to relocate to Burlington, or Stoney Creek, both very nearby, and very nice. You will have to apply if you plan on living/working here.......................

  3. Don't ever walk alone after sunset at S.Wellington. It is a crappy place like Ajidamoon said. :)
