I am about to try out for the dance team and im nervous. What should I do?

    practice as much as you can before hand

    have confidence

    and most importantly HAVE FUN!

  2. Relax! Remember that it doesn't matter! Most people that try out stink! The worst thing that could happen is you not making the team! Jsut take a deep breath and do your best!

  3. Just practice practice practice and do the best you can!  A bit of nerves is normal and can be easily overcome.  

    Just get out there, do your thing, and know that you did your very best.  

    If you do that, you have nothing to be nervous about.

  4. i know exactly how you feel, i'm the most nervous person in the entire world...so here are some tips:

    Breath 7 sec. in and 11 sec. out, it helps take your mind off of it when you count.

    Practice the rutine with some friends, but don't do it so many times you over work yourself.

    Eat good foods and strech before.

    Go to the doctor and ask for some anxity pills..which is something i proudly take:)

  5. Chances are that everyone else there is just as nervous as you. Make sure your confident, a confident dancer is a better dancer! Practice, but not too much. If you practice too much than you will make yourself more nervous and may start to forget steps. When your dancing, don't think too hard, just go with the flow! and most importantly HAVE FUN :]

  6. i'm sure all the people trying out are nervous too and its totally normal. just do your best good luck!

  7. Just do your best and have fun! Be confident of your moves. And just to let you know.. All judges LOVE to see that dancers are having fun.

  8. first, take a deep breath! then do the only thing that you can do. make sure you know everything that you need to know. go through it over and over and over. and pray, even if you are not religious, that you will have strength! good luck, and remember to have fun! you will do amazing! hope you make it!

  9. Just practice over and over again, be confident, I'm sure that everyone's nervous, so your not alone. When trying out don't think too hard about the steps, or you'll be too stiff or you'll have a bad facial expression, just have fun and go with the flow, pretend they're not there. Stretch and excersise alot before the try outs to avoid pulling a hamstring. Don't skip breakfast and go to sleep early to avoid being tired. Good Luck!

  11. take a deep breath. okay everybody gets nervous its normal. i would just practice like crazy practice things you are already good at until they are perfect and then practice things that aren't your best so they can get better. that way instead of having a bunch of okay things you will have perfect things and good things.

    oh and dont forget to smile the whole time
