I am now convinced after Barack's speech last night that he is the man to bring good change for us. I used to think that his inexperience was his downfall but now I realize..... We need someone exactly like him!! I must admit that I voted for Bush 2x and I regret it now. His economic plan is too close to McCain's and it has proven not to work.. So now this republican says "Go Obama"! Anyone else have a CHANGE last night?

  1. I had a change this morning!

    McCain/Palin 08

  2. Well welcome aboard. I would have voted for Obama regardless, but I think Obama and everyone else who spoke at the convention did a good job explaining what Obama was all about.

  3. Your eyes are open. Obama is a realist and wants to unite Americans and get us back on track. Its like when you were younger and playing sports, some coaches would say that there wasnt a letter "I" in the word TEAM. Repulicans tend to put that letter "I" in the word TEAM. Most Republicans feel like they made it in life, so s***w everyone else. We are Americans and we need to be together right now. Lets make this nation a TEAM without the "I" and get back on track. Obama is genuine and you can see it and hear it when he speaks.Theres no denying that he wants the best for our nation.

  4. You have always wanted to vote for Obama. I have seen your posts. So join the losing team we don't care. McCain '08

  5. No change for me.  Still the same man, same policies that won't work.  And frankly I don't know how anybody can go from Republican to Obama supporter, they are so radically different.

  6. Sounds like you are not sure since you pose this as a question.

  7. no his speech has proved my point, he is interested in just being president and not improving any thing, just think about it wants govt to provide for us and wants to raise taxes who knows what he is going to do next, yes his speech made me realize that i was right to worry about him and i am a Democrat

  8. Still voting McCain here.

Obama's speech last night was good but he continued to say things that I still don't agree with.  I believe he was more sincere in that speech than many others but I still do not agree with his ideaology.

McCain's pick of Palin today actually has me fired up.  I think it was a brilliant move and an excellent pick.

Before "changing your mind" you may want to do some soul searching and ask if we are really in THAT much trouble in America.  And how much of the problems that we may be facing is really directly Bush's fault and how much is the Democratically controlled congress' fault?  I will give you a hint - oil prices did not start to climb until the dem's took congress.  The oil prices is what has driven the value of the dollar down.  And still  -  in spite of all that - the economy is still growing.

Do you own research and make up you own mind.

  9. Join the club, alot of ppl like you !

  10. Sorry!

  11. His speech convinced me he's just another "promise the moon and stars" liberal politician. His math simply doesn't add up. I'm sorry that you've suspended your logic and credibility to support this typical socialist politician.

  12. I voted for Bush twice, but I changed my voter registration from Republican to Democrat months ago.  I want no one even remotely tied to Bush as our next president.  Obama's speech was mighty and inspiring, and he's exactly who we need as our next president.

  13. You must not have listened to the same speech I did.  The first part of it he spent dumping on McCain (as per the same old Dem playbook), Then the last part he kept harping on change.  Doesn't anyone in the Democratic party have a memory retention of more than 2 minutes?

  14. I was always for Obama, but I have a few friends who were leaning towards McCain.. but after Obama's speech and seeing McCain's HORRIBLE choice for VP? They are now Obama supporters.

  15. Looks like the only reformers are the republicans.

If you want change it wont be with Obama, that's the old Jimmy Carter failed solutions.

  16. The only "change" he is going to bring is more taxes and a bigger government.  We will end up with another Jimmy Carter in the white house.

  17. After last night I was starting to lean to the left but this mornings news about McCain's VP choice sealed it.

  18. No all I heard was blah, blah, blah raise your taxes ,give away freebies.Blah,blah,blah.

If you actually thought about what he said you would realize the numbers don't add up.Lets see he wants to give away free education, health care,welfare,etc...

To pay for it he will raise taxes on the top 5% of earners, yet lower taxes on 95%.He will raise taxes on corporations (job loss, business loss to overseas etc..)

Does it really add up to you?Even if the war ends that money should go to slowing down the deficit growth.

  19. Welcome to the good side...congrats
