  1. Always remeber its not a 'Wellness Drink'.

  2. Have you read the lable on those things? They don't advise more than one per day. As they market the drinks to 20 and 30 year old people, and with the amount of caffein in one drink, if you are addicted to them, and if you drink 6 a day, and if you are 22 now, you will most probably be a likely candidate for a coronary before you turn 26.

    Speed kills.

  3. I think basic nutrition may be part of your problem. After eyars on convicing my mom to use vitamins she finally did. I told her to take them for a couple of weeks and tell me how she felt. She said she did not think she noticed much of a difference unless she forgot to take them. Then she said it was much harder to get up in the morning.

Another problem just may be mental. You seem to have yourself convinced that you want and/or need them so when you don't get them then you feel bad. The mind is very powerful. It can manifest all sorts of emotional and physical problems in us. Train your brain to think that you don't need that many.

I can't think of there being much of an actual addiction here. After all we are only talking about sugar and caffeine. Now maybe your body might be so use to getting so much sugar and caffeine that if it does not get as much it simply does not respond. Try some natural fruits and veggies.

We really should not have more than 2 energy drinks in a day. Most of the larger cans, like monster are actually 2 servings. So that should be all we consume.

I think both sleep and nutrition play a big part in why people drink do much of these energy drinks. However, there simply is no replacement for enough sleep. Now with proper nutrition people simply won't need to drink that much either.

I supplement every day. I only use energy drinks if I have gotten less than 6 hours of sleep or before a workout. Even then I use healthy energy drinks. XS Energy. They have 0 sugar, 0 carbs, and only 8 calories. The energy is from B-vitamins that the body and mind need. This way I am not tacking excessive amounts of sugar and caffeine nor a large amount of calories.

  4. try cutting back slowly, have one a day for like a month, then have half a glass, then try replacing the addiction with something more healthy for you :) hope it works for you

  5. just stop drink energy drinks completely.

    instead, have water.

if you don't like plain water, buy crystal light or the to-go pouches.

    monster's bad for you!
