Can eating WAY over the amount of soy beans become dangerous? I eat them for breakfast lunch and dinner, But I eat well over the serving size and it seems to be the main item I eat. Can I make myself sick? Does soy mess with my hormones?

  1. There is some controversy over whether or not soy is helpful or harmful--the research seems to be inconclusive.  I would say to eat soy in moderation--cut down on it by mixing your soy beans up in a salad, soup, or sandwich. That way you can enjoy your soybeans but not have to worry about overdoing it.

    Enjoy!

  2. You have to be sick to like the little buggers out of the pod.

  3. Edamame. I recently started to love it too. There very good for you, but everything should be done in moderation. It is a good source of protein, but it is relatively high in carbohydrates. So if you are eating a diet where you are limiting carbs you should before not to eat too much.

  4. Try switching to ordinary fresh green peas. They taste better.

  5. I went through an edamame phase...and I swear to god my b***s got bigger, apparently there's estrogen in them too, and I don't think I was imagining it because my bf thought so too.  I didn't gain weight either - I weigh myself daily, sometimes multiple times, my punishment for buying a scale.

They are pretty high in fat though.....so if you're just eating those and just produce and whole grains, it should be fine, if you're eating junk food you might get some love handels (unless you exercise)

  6. Eating soy beans is dangerous for you and the Amazon!  Huge amounts of the Amazon were slashed and burned to provide land for soy bean production!  Think about it and act globally.

Overconsumption of soy beans will turn you into a pooh bear.

    SAY NO TO SOY!!
