I found out about a year ago when i was in my dads car and he started to speed up. As the speed got quicker i started to lose breath to the point where i could not breathe and i had to try and tell him to slow down. Ever since this has happened i have been afraid to go out with mates who have fast cars just in case it happens again. After the first incident it had never happened before which is why i am worrying. The reason I am asking this question is because I am going on a flight next week and im not sure how i'll go with take off and landing, since the planes go very fast. Is there any medication I can take to put me to sleep during take off and landing? I have bought Unisom Sleepgels and have tried one, it worked farely well but i dont know how much of an effect it will have on me while i'm on the plane. I just need to know something before I go on my flight.

  1. You should talk to a doctor about this. It sounds like you have mild panic attacks and he/she can give you medication to help you through this situation.

  2. Grow up, think rationally. Planes are the safest means of transport. Also for cars, i think you give too much importance to what happened, we've all been scared a couple of times but this doesn't mean there is a permanent problem. Get in your mates' cars again and get over it.

  3. I dont think its going to be a problem - its more the fact that you can "see the speed"  Its very different being in a car to being in a plane.  Here is one for you:

One bus moves so fast on the busy traffic road. All the passengers are scared, especially one old woman beside the driver. She then shouting the driver…

Old woman: “sir..! Please don’t drive in speed, I am scare”.

The driver: “mam, if you are scare, just close your eyes like I do”
