Question:

I am afraid of.....?

everything..sheesh

i always fear that someone is in my house

i fear that someone is goin to kill/ harm me and my family

i must face the door when i am in a room...

heck i am even afraid of answering questions here on yahoo because i am scared people will think that i am stupid..

how do i deal with this?

    you may have a psychology problem but serious or not, I don't know

    so go to the doctor as soon as you can if still experience the problem through a long period..

    now.. just calm down... drink a cup of cold water.. or hot water .. pls think that everything is ok...

    be in your room to relax and devoid any disturb from people, car noise, ...

    turn on a small lamp and slow music... relax and go to sleep..

  3. i used to be like that. you'll get over it. try talking to a psychologist if it is really that bad.

  4. you just have some things you need to deal with just pray for god to show you why you feel that way and it will get better

  5. You take it this other way. You want others to be afraid of you. They should have  the fear that you may go and rob them. All others who are dealing with you should have the fear that you may harm them or their family to any extent. We should all be afraid of answering your question.

    If this is your expectation, you should be naturally afraid. Otherwise take it for granted that the whole world is like you soft, sweet and loving. They want cordiality only. They want happiness and peace.

    If you behave like this in future also, you will continue to be stupid. Change your attitude. Consider everybody is the best friend of yours. One should die once only. You are dieing every now and then. Be  bold and courageous. Unless you have done some harm to others, no one else would  like to interfere with your life and harm you.

    I suffer from agoraphobia and social anxiety - sounds to me like you may have an anxiety disorder, but noone here on Yahoo can properly diagnose you.

    Please see your Doctor and dont be afraid to tell them all the things you've mentioned on Yahoo to them. They are there to help you - truly

'Dude I have similar problems because I watch c**p loads of horror movies.  I always have to face the door when I sleep..just the way it is.  But I have found if I sleep with my dog in the room there is no problem.  Or consider closing your door at night but don't lock it in case of emergency.  You could also put something in front of the door if that makes ya feel better, something not too heavy though.  Or, I know this sounds nuts, but you could put a knife under your pillow, just for the sake of having that security with you.  Just a small one, and you don't have to tell your parents about it.  Anyways whatever you do you have to remember NO ONE IS TRYING TO HURT YOU!!  But yeah I know how it feels to be paranoid.  Fortunetly, for me, I have gotten past this because I know no one wants to hurt my ugly a*s and even if they did I don't care because I don't care if I die. :/  You are not stupid just remember that..everyone has fears but most people are too afraid to admit them.  You are brave to admit your fears.  Good for you.

    Maybe you have anxiety. You should see and if you do, go get medication for it. =]

They'll be able to help you diagnose your specific issue, whether it be a variety of phobias or a form of anxiety, and will work with you to alleviate this. It's likely the psychologist will also recommend a psychiatric evaluation, as medication will likely be needed in the beginning so you can start to have something akin to a normal life.

  12. Well, start off by going to counseling or something. I'm sure your doctor can help you out. It seems that you have constant phobias of things that wouldn't happen but you still worry. And my mom has the same thing. The doctor prescribed her medicine because she had panic attacks some times.

  13. you need to relax a little bit. get an alarm system in your house if its really that bad or get some therapy. i have a cousin who was like that and actually therapy really helped her.

  14. Live a little. Just know that the odds of someone coming in aren't very great. And if you do have these fears when you're alone in your house just keep a cordless or cellphone somewhere nearby. People aren't going to think you're stupid unless you portray yourself as stupid.  

  15. whenever i was a kid, i wasnt afraid of n e thing. now im afraid of stupid things like elevators, bad haircuts, clowns/mimes, being burried alive, && my mom. idkk really.. i just tell myself 2 not care.

  16. You have to face it. You need to get over the fact that nothing like that is going to happen. Ever. So why get so worked up about it and just chill. Do you really think out of all of the houses that a burglar is going to come into yours? No.
