  1. If you feel good its ok!

If you look good its ok! :0)

  2. dude dont do that that is kinda of gross when you look at an old lady in a mini skirt

  3. do not shop in the juniors department at age 46!!!!!! Dress like the lady you are, not the girl you were twenty-odd years ago.

  4. Yes, you need to start shopping in the Ladies dept. Otherwise people will think you are so insecure with yourself that you need to try to look younger. Embrace your age!

  5. Yes, if you're wearing clothes from the Jr. Dept you're not dressing age appropriately. At 46, you should be wearing clothes with an even numbered size.

Just because clothing is designed for grown women doesn't make it frumpy or dated. However, dressing like a teen when you're in your mid to late 40's WILL make you look frumpy and dated. You want to look stylish for your age, not necessarily younger than you are. Let your figure and features show off that you look younger than you are. Choose adult styles that are fun and colorful. This will give you a more youthful look without resorting to the Junior's rack.

Also, try a fun stylish haircut (age-appropriate, of course: no weird colors or multi-colors) and this will give you a fun look without looking like you're trying too hard.

Good luck, I'm sure you'll look great!

  6. um yeah if your 46 you shouldnt be wearing stuff from the junior section..unless stuff in the misses section doesnt fit (like if your really petite)

it would defiantly look like your trying to look young

i think once your in your 30s you should start dressing age appropriate

  7. the jr department is for kids not grown women. find something in the women's department that makes you look trim and youthful.

  8. Yes.  Slim and trim is great.  A 46 year old dressing like a 20 year old looks silly.

  9. its okay that you wear jr dept styles, but dont wear things that seem to teenagerish like skulls, or tons of hearts or stars on shirts. Go for the trends, like the jeans, the tees and flowy tops, etc. Sometimes i see my friends mom who is 50 wear graphic tees that say Aeropostale on it. Dress how you feel comfortable in, and how you think you look good in.

  10. I am 48 and do buy from the Jr's because I am 5'4" and wear size 8. But I don't buy jeans that are too low or tees that are too young etc. I find plain tees and layer colors and wear simple jewelry. I also like simple button up shirts with lacey tanks underneath and jeans. I guess more Old Navy and American Eagle-though I can't always buy. Its the tees with picts, and things like that that make it look un appro. in my opinion. "old lady clothes" or as my Mom called them "secretary clothes" just don't make it for me-I do artwork for a living and try to dress casual classic and wear classy silver or gold jewelry but I still own a couple pair of vans and such. Simple, colors, not alot of patterns-and if you can't fit womens-don't wear it!

Check out the styles in Spiegal catalog-you can even buy it in the bookstore now or look online. They own a line called "together" that is beautiful, simple embroidered-with jeans, kind of safari clothes, dresses and jackets-if I win the lottery-thats who will dress me-but they are actually decent in price....

  11. Yes and you're AT that age. Stop shopping Jr's. You need to watch "What Not to Wear!" ...........that's the first thing they tell you........dress stylishly for your AGE.

  12. Definitely go for more grown up and sophisticated
