  1. no you need to take the test driving is a privilege not a right

  2. not automatic you have to pass the test

  3. Age has nothing to do with driving and getting a driver license. Driving is an earned privilege not a right of passage due to age. Each state is different as to what age you can get a permit. Did you take classes to prepare for the test. If not I would suggest that before you try again. Earn the money for the classes, have the money for the insurance, and the ability to take care of a car before you even get a license. Or do you just need state ID that is different than a driver license. If you can't afford the responsibility of a car you should reconsider a license. It's not your parents job to take care of all that comes with having a car and driving. It is YOURS!

  4. You don't just automatically get something, people don't automatically get their license when they turn 18. What I mean is your not going to get something by not doing anything, and age has nothing to do with it. Go and take the permit test again, study for the test, and you should do fine.

  5. Why did you fail twice? Maybe you really do not want to drive. It's summer time get the book study ya I know I want go to the beach check out babes. I know your generation really does give hoot drive. Us old coots knew we wanted to drive usually passed first time around.

You can try this page I know it's Ca but if you practice online you'll get the Idea. http://www.dmv.ca.gov/pubs/interactive/t...

  6. you have to pass the test no matter how old you are

  7. well if you failed the permit test twice, I wouldn't want to see you on the road.

  8. No, they don't give you a learners permit automatically at 17 or a license at 18.  You have to take and pass the test to get the learners permit, and you have to hold a learners permit for a while to take the drivers test to get your license.

  9. yeah after the 5th failure they get tired of seeing you,and just give them to you---what the h**l

  10. You never get it automatically. In your case that sounds like a good deal
