(You may need to put in on Microsoft Word or another program so you can englarge it.)

But please, don't just type it into an online translator, as I've already tried that. I was hoping someone who spoke Italian could translate for me. Thank you very much.

Sincerely,

Re-L Cherie.

  1. The closer translation of the meaning I can get

(of course it's not a literal translation of the words)

"Beloved is for me sleeping and being made of stone (it actually would mean "being dead")

While troubles and misery are lasting/going on

not hearing, not seeing are for me a great relief.

But please, don't awake me, speak quietly, dude."

So, it means when you're dead you're somehow lucky since you can't see any more all the bad things than still happen in the world.

  2. Yeah, it´s italian but i need a magnifying glass to read it.

  3. Yes it is indeed Italian; it looks as though it may be a tombstone or something.

The previous contributor is right;it is poetic and the meaning ofthe last line is notclear as some of the wordslooks as though they have been shortened. But the general meaning is:

"Sleep is dear to me, and to be made of stone wouldbe even better while trouble and shame lasts.

    Not to see, not to hear is a great adventure to me;

But speak in a low voice so as not to disturb me"

  4. Yes, it's Italian, but it's poetic Italian.

There are some things that I'm not able to translate.

  5. Beloved me and the sleep. and more. l'd to be of pebble while that gives. and the hard shame. not to see. not to feel m and great luck pear tree not to arouse deh I speak to me low

    thats what i got
