  1. A bar-maid !

  2. The UK is England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland altogether,

What part of the UK are you thinking of relocating to?

Try the travel industry, or hotel industry, good luck,

  3. I think you may need a visa/work permit so look into first - hotel work maybe your best idea for work or if you speak several languages the world is open to you  good luck

  4. try googling the job centre in the uk!!!

  5. Presumably you got a 'no' vote from your canton.

Examples of professions are: Actuary, Accountant, Barrister, Doctor, Solicitor.

Hospitality & Tourism is regarded as unskilled so you probably have only a limited chance of obtaining UK residence.

  6. do you have a visa to live here? Switzerland is not part of the EU so u may need a visa.

    dont be illegal please.

  7. If you have Swiss citizenship then even though Switzerland is not part of the EU, it's citizens have the right to live here in the UK. Otherwise, you will have to go down the route of looking at visas and immigration law.

The Home Office website can help you more.

  8. Yes, I can provide help.

Don't do it.  The cost of living here is astronomic,  and  history suggests that hospitality and tourism is one of the first things that people cut out of their budgets when things get tight.  You will also be competing against an influx of eastern European E.U. citizens prepared to work for minimum wage, meaning that incomes in that field are amongst the lowest in the country.

Re-train in IT and the world is your mollusc of choice.

  9. you won't need a visa or work permit even though you are not (lucky you) part of the eu as your country has a trade agreement,as does norway & iceland,so you can just come here..get on line & you will find plenty of agencies who deal in that sort of thing,as that is where most companies get there employees from.
