I am an American and need help in getting my passport renewed in another country?

I currently reside in jeddah, saudi arabia but wish to renew my passport in Dubai,U.A.E. The passport expired a couple of years ago and I was afraid to go to the consulate here becuase of the attacks that took place by the terrorists a couple of years ago.

Also, my children need to get their passports for the first time but likewise I am scared to visit the consulate. Can they apply in UAE, Dubai also?

You are not too afraid to reside in Jeddah, but you are too afraid to visit the US Consulate General in Jeddah?

You are advised to make contact with the American Citizen Services Unit in Jeddah and share your plight with them - they risk their lives every day to go to work, just to assist people like you.  The contact information is below:
