I am an Arab man but i was born in brooklyn, New york and i look white

My problem is when ever i talk to arab people in arabic they think im just an american man who just knows their language and when i talk to american people they always get surprised by my name.

There's no question here, and it's not clear that there's a problem either -- so what if people are "surprised" by your name?
