I am an Indian, Muslim & got a job in Muscat, Oman with salary Omani Riyal 800, including accomodation.?

I wish to know how much it costs to live with family (I have wife & 1 year old child). How about safety for family life, Indian schools & nature of omani people. The company is a multinational & located in Al-Khuwair, Muscat. I am currently located in Saudi Arabia & wish to go there without cancelling my visa in Saudi Arabia since my employer will not permit to go on cancellation.
