I am working as Senior Solutions Architect in a very reputable company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, since May `08. When I approached the Ministry for my family visa they rejected it on the grounds that my wife is a Bangladeshi.

I am an Indian and so is my 16 month old child. But my wife is from Bangladesh. She and my child live presently in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I have been trying to get the family visa ever since May. I visited the Ministry twice and was turned down each time.

I even tried getting a family visit visa from MOFA, without any luck. Can someone please tell me whether it is possible to get my family over here in Saudi Arabia?

I would be thankful for any helpful comments or directions.

Thanks in advance!

  2. Why dont you get an employment visa for your wife? It might be expensive but it is much easier to get an employment visa than a residence permit. Once she will enter KSA I hope you will manage to keep her with you.

Well in middle east the embassies require a certain amount of salary that a guardian should earn to call his family over there. Its better to get a complete requirement from Saudi Embassy.

Otherwise find some other sponsor or 'Arbaab' to get an alternate visa
