Do I have to apply for a visa before leaving India or would I be granted a Visa on Arrival upon reaching Malaysia with the student pass?

  1. You must go to the Malaysian consulate in India and apply for a student visa.  Indian citizens cannot enter Malaysia without a visa.  Your admission documents from the university will be necessary to get the visa.
