  1. you must be a canadian resident to qualify for a health card

  2. Why would your nostelgic attachment to your heritage of 250 years ago make the slightest bit of difference to how you are treated in Canada. You're an American, no Italian would consider you Italian in the slightest.

  3. Yes but only if you also get a residency permit in Canada, temporary work permit or permanent resident status.  Besides, our health care is not that good.  They wont let you die but if you need some non-life-saving surgery, you could be waiting for months.

  4. Being owner of Property is not enough, u need to be resident of Canada to claim medical care there.

  5. yeah someone already told you that Italy has an excellent Healt Care sistem..and it is Free, so get your Italian passport and over there you can buy a house, have FREE health care, and eat healtier food

  6. No, you will not.  To access health care services you must be a citizen or a legal resident.  To qualify for residency you must pass a health examination by a physician approved by Canada and be reasonably healthy (among other things).  Buying a house will not make the slightest difference.

Italy has a pretty good health care system, maybe that would be easier.
