  1. search Google

  2. http://www.rugbyworldcup.com/EN/home

    http://www.rugbyrugby.com/

    http://www.amnrl.com/

    Those ore the best.

  3. depends if ur talking about rugby league or rugby union. League is basically just a faster more exciting version than union with bigger plays and less players and therefore requires more skill to play but is way more fun, however its a sport u can pick up straight away. The main diff is union is slower more gradual chipping away at the opposition and league are spur of the moment improvation of very general set plays (more free flowing)

    Genreal rules of league: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Playing_rug...

    General rules of union:http://www.uidaho.edu/clubs/womens_rugby...

  4. www.rugby365.com

    Its a great site.

  5. Nobody plays rugby league in America.  Americans play rugby union.  Check out usarugby.org and maybe even contact them about finding a team in your area.  There are teams around the country, but rugby in America is small but growing.  Best way to learn about rugby would be to get on a team.

  6. Go to www.usarugby.org, there are some good resources there

Look for teams from you area of the country.

www.irb.org is also a good place to start for the laws of the game

  7. my dad used to be a pro but i havent got any advice.soz(i'm a soccer player)(semi pro)

  8. http://www.scrum.com/rugby_guide/default... or you can check my rugby clubs page out http://www.oldnewtonians.co.uk/

  9. Good for you! Rugby is an awesome sport to play, especially as a women since it's getting such a big boom in the states. The best way to learn is to join a team. If you live in a city, it'll be pretty simple to find a women's team. Search around the 'net for women's teams  or feel free to put up where you're from and I can probably find out (we have alumni all over the country still playing in various places). Don't be afraid of not knowing what you're doing because most people walk in with ZERO skills onto the pitch. I didn't even know what rugby was when I started!

If you're in a smaller town, are there any colleges around? There are a ton of women teams that are college based. Luckily, they're generally so excited to team more people about it, they'll let people sign up as social members and learn to play (you just couldn't play in certain games).

Here are a couple of really simple sites about rules and positions for you to check out:

  10. type something like this into aussie google:

    "Rugby League"  rules

    or

    "Rugby League"     basics

  11. The most popular world game is rugby union. Not league. 2 different games. The union world cup is on this summer in France. New Zealand will be favourites with Ireland, France and Australia in contention. I can't wait as i am Irish, but live in DC.

Check out the IRB.com web site, as it will tell you everthing about rugby. You should also try to join a club....
