Am 21 and get sentenced next month for GBH. I have 1 year done of my NVQ and it normally takes 3 or 4 years I think. I am still working now but will I be able to somehow continue in prison or will I have to wait until I'm back to out to continue with it?

  1. maybe you could wire up the electric chair

  2. You'll be required to do whatever job is assigned to you. Choice is something you give up when you commit an imprisonable offence.

On the brighter side, you will be given the opportunity to take part in "education", and attend a gym, and have access to a library.

There is every possibility that you could return to society a slightly better educated, fit laundry operative.

  3. You may not be able to carry on as i believe NVQ's are largely work based.

  4. maybe you should have thought about this before you lashed out at whoever it was...

  5. Perhaps.........

  6. SOme prison have prison workshop programs, in order to give you education and skills, and the tools you will need to become a "productive" member of society once you get out. It depends on the prison you are going too, and what they offer you.

If anything, see if you can get an online and or correspondence training course going to get and maintain your certifications so that when you do get out, you will be more than halfway there.
