I'm looking for suggestions/ideas I can get our students to do for her as a gift. It's hard because she is always in the room. Any ideas? Thanks!

  1. you could simply bring in some cupcakes, hide them in another classroom and at snack/lunch time bring them out then you and the children sing Happy Birthday to her.  I'm sure she will appreciate anything that you do :)

  2. Well in your school dose the teacher have a break like my school the kids have social studies but it was a different teacher so mabby you have the teacher skip that one class and you can make her a huge card our something

  3. A HUGE Card, with each kid signing

Each Kid's handprint on a giant piece of paper, frame it

Have a lemonade sale w/ the kids, buy her a presant

All help bake cup cakes, YOU USE THE OVEN, not the kids!

    Make a photo album

    And because she's always out....

give her the day off. Say, it's your birthday, I'l take care of the kids. MAKE SURE THE PRINCAPAL SAYS OK

If you can afford, with the other teachers, get her a spa day, act like thats the only present. LOL

    GOOD LUCK!

  4. Since she is always in the room, something personal from you and the kids would be hard - so ice cream (or Popsicles) and/or cupcakes (cake) is a good quick choice with a well written birthday card.  My favorite present was a linen-colored totebag with each child's handprint on it.  Hard to do if she is always in the room.

  5. Nothing.

she doesn't need "gifts" she needs accolades.

Who remebers the item they got last year, no one? Who remembers the smiling faces for a lifetime, everyone!

Sing happy birthday then serve homemade cupcakes and milk.
