  1. you won't be able to find a question that will do that.

can i ask a question to all the atheists?  why is it that you have to prove everyone else wrong? i guess i'm really directing this at all people whi argue about the existence of god.  why does it matter what others believe? i personally believe in a god, but certainly not the catholic God, even though i was raised catholic.  why can't people just say "hey, that guy thinks something different than i do, good for him"?  that's what i do, especially in matters that are as trivial as religion.  why can't we all just stop attacking each other's beliefs and just live in peace?

  2. Questions? Okay, If Jesus is a descendant of David, as it says in the bible, and David is a descendent of Abraham and Abraham is a descendent of Adam, that would place Adam having bee around between 8 and 10 thousand years ago. (8,000 BCE to 6,000 BCE) Yet we KNOW as a FACT that modern man, Homo sapien sapien, has been on earth for 130,000 years. 13x longer then the bible says? According to the bible, the heavens and the earth formed mere days before Adam, again 8 and 10 thousand years ago, yet we KNOW the earth is more the 4.5 billion years old and the heavens...the universe, is around 13.7 billion years old. Hmmm...

Here are a few 'biblical' conundrums:

The chief of the mighty men of David lifted up his spear and killed how many men at one time? (Eight hundred (2 Samuel 23:8)/Three hundred (I Chronicles 11: 11))

When did David bring the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem? Before defeating the Philistines or after? (After (2 Samuel 5 and 6)/ Before (I Chronicles 13 and 14))

If the bible is a literal, true and accurate account of the life of Jesus and inspired by god...an infallible being then the answer to the question "Did Jesus bear his own cross?" should have ONE answer. John 19:17 sais he did carry his own cross. Matthew 27:31-32 states that it was carried by "a man of Cyrene, Simon by name."

Based on these contradiction (and I can list dozens more) the bible is a flawed and based on the lack of supporting evidence as well as specific contradictory evidence, false. So, if what the bible teaches is fiction, why should we believe what the bible teaches over the Koran or the Iliad or the Poetic Edda or even the Daozang? Why no believe any other religious texts or for that matter, J. R. R. Tolkien story, The Lord of the Rings? After all, it is no more fantastical then the bible.

The god of the bible, as described within its pages, is false. All gods are false.

"i'm vitally important" - General speaking, most atheists only try to "prove everyone else wrong" when they try to prove to us there is a god, convert us or start preaching to us. However, for those of us that are a little more active, the answer to your question is simple. The notion of a god is a lie, so why not spread the truth. Or, to be a little more informative, theism is irrational and has, does and if left unchecked will continue to cause trouble around the world. (as Voltaire put it - "Those who can make you believe in absurdities can make you commit atrocities.") Theism divides and separated. Theism spreads lies as facts and ignores facts in favor of myths, theism IS slavery, [It dictates how one should live without giving reason, demands obedience, brooks no debate that questions the fundamental principals and in many case fictional history of it churches, uses threats of h**l and damnation as incentives to be obedient (You are one of the blessed or you are DAMNED!), exacts sacrifice of one form or another (blood in ancient times, money, time and attention in today's churches.) and gives nothing in return.] and the list goes on... So why not try to put an end or at least reduce the number of people that suffer from the vial affliction of theistic belief. ;-)

  3. Let's suppose we were talking about some subject besides religion. What if your teacher's subject were history, and you believed one of his conclusions about history (say, the reasons behind the American civil war) was erroneous. What would you hope to gain by challenging your teacher in cllass and "really confusing" him, as you say? What would that do other than make you look like an immature smart a**?  Throw religion in the mix and you'll really look intolerably sophomoric.

Just concentrate on your studies, give your teacher some respect. Maybe you'll learn something.

  4. Just ask him everything you can think of. Pay VERY close attention to the answers. If he's any good, you might actually learn something.

  5. why does it bother you so much that he believes something different than you. come on now...let's be tolerant and open-minded.

  6. You won't be able to stump him, only because a liar can always pull an answer out of their bottoms.

  7. 3but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.

4You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. 5They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them. 6We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit[a] of truth and the spirit of falsehood.

    1 John 3-6

basically it states right there that there is going to be people like you in the world and to look past you, and keep doing what is right... lets grow up here seriously

  8. Ok, in the Bible it says that Adam & Eve gave birth to Cain & Able. IF that was the case then where was the other female for the Earth to populate, especially if Able died.

If the Earth continued on then does God support incest?
