I plan to leave the UK for good in December travelling through parts of europe & US on the way home. Will I have any issues leaving & more importantly will me overstaying in the UK affect me gaining entry to other countries??

  1. I can't see there'd be a problem if you don't intend to return.

  2. Ooooooh! If you're lucky you'll slip through no problem. If they catch you, you're going back to Australia. Europe won't be a problem-they are more normal than the English.

  3. Your passport will also be stamped, and a record of theoverstaying will be kept on UK records, this will affect your ability to enter the UK for a number of years. It may also affect your application to visit other countries as well. I assume there is no option of you being able to apply for a work permit?

  4. Don't wait until December bugger off now.

  5. P**s off and dont come back, people always have a pop at the poles but the australians are here for the same reason, money! They arn't here for the sunshine and smiles thats for sure. Im sure youve filled your pockets to buy plenty of beer and surfboards for your classless homeland.

  6. Tut Tut, but just hide in a wheelie bin and you'll be fine thats how they get in our country

  7. loads of brits over stay on their working holiday visa's  , i would not worry if u want to get out of the uk withe out having to show your passport get a ferry to northern island drive over the border and then get on a plane to were you want you will not get your passport stamped but you will not get a mark on it either saying you were a bad boy and overstayed

  8. I know plenty of people who have either out stayed work visas or student visas. I don't think you will have a problem here or through out Europe. Not too sure about the US but if you don't look Islamic then probably no problem. Hope you've enjoyed your time in the UK xx

  9. go home now

  10. ?

  11. My Australian friend did that and they got a good telling off and that was it.

It does look bad and you might not be able to get into some other countries. Not sure though.

  12. You should plan to return home immediately.  You are an illegal alien and subject to all the penalties of immigration-law violations.  Once you violate immigration laws and visa restrictions in one country, most other countries will deny you entry, visas, etc.  Someone who violates the law once is more likely to do it again, and lawbreakers are not welcome most places.

Any border agent or immigration officer who looks at your passport will see you violated terms of your visa.  Plus, you go into the 'puter upon your departure from the UK and other immigration services can get your records of violations.

Go home -- and you had better get a Qantas direct flight straight back to Oz.  You're persona non grata too many places to risk traveling through a number of countries.

  13. You may have a problem in Europe as you have already overstayed your welcome in one part of the EU. American immigration are unlikely to trust you since you overstayed in another country they will assume you will overstay here.

The worst thing that will happen is that you will leave the UK and be refused entry to another country. At that point you can't come back to the UK so make sure you have enough money to buy yourself a one way ticket back home.

    Good Luck

  14. Yes it will if they realise and that will depend on how closely they look at your passport.  It would be very unlikely that they would not check out your arrival details on entry to the US.  The fact that you overstayed in the UK will probably mean refusal.  Europe is different, it depends on your point of entry some ports are pretty hot and others are fairly lax particularly at the height of the summer with thousands of holiday makers arriving but you are taking a risk of being refused entry.  The bottom line is that once you transgress the immigration rules/laws of one country you can't be trusted not to do it again so you are not considered to be acceptable to most countries.  You really don't want the hassle it will cause you in the future if you come to the attention of the authorities.  It will probably mean vacations in Oz for quite a few years for a start.

  15. I hope so. That's deceitful.
