Try looking into being a privet boat liner Captain. I am guessing your 40-50 years old so it could be kind of tough being a Captain before being a first mate first but your maturity might be in your favor. I herd they make great money and get to see lots of coastal ports. Just a thought. shellback

What part of the country are you in?  Boating is in a funk in a lot of areas right now.  Here in Florida, check out the Florida Mariner Magazine as it has a help wanted section.
