  1. his wife cannot work because he is on a working visa and as his dependent, his wife cannot work.

you having a working visa here in the US would help in the canada immigration process since your application may be processed here instead of in india.

there is no need for you to have a relative in order to sponsor you for canadian immigration. we have no one - relative or friend- in canada when my family immigrated there in 2005.

currently, canada immigration takes about 3-5 years to process. all you need to know about it is in www.cic.gc.ca

believe me, that website is all you need. no need for agencies or immigration lawyers. that's what my parents did when they applied to immigrate to canada. now they're filing for their citizenship applications.

  2. The fact that you are an Indian national is beside the point, as Canada has non-racist immigration legislation.  Race and country of origin are given no weight whatsoever.

The fact that you are legally working in the US is also beside the point.

Usually, you have to find a relative to agree to be financially responsible for you, for a period of up to ten years--even after you become a Canadian citizen.

I don't understand why your wife could not work in the US, if that is what she wants to do.

  3. Sorry, that office is closed. Until August 2021.
