  1. here are some links that you could the camera off!!

    i hope these helped

  2. I highly recommend a Nikon D40 - DO NOT be put off by 6MP, trust me, the quality of the photographs this camera creates are way above some 10MP cameras!

I know in the UK you can get one with two lenses (18-55 and 55-200) for around £450 at the moment, but the camera and a single lens is going in some places for as little as £250. Shop around! (oh, and if you have the money, buy a Nikon D60 - ignore the D40x, its a true waste of money over the D40).

  3. I recommend the Nikon D40, not as expensive and I have gotten a lot of great shots off it. I do weddings, portraits, nature, and many other types. I love this camera and it only goes for 500, sometimes less if its on sale.

  4. Look at the low end DSLR camera's from the big 3.

Nikon,Canon,Sony. They have the biggest selection of lenses and accessories on the market.

  5. digital slrs are the best, try something like the nikon d60 (£400ish) or the olympus e420 (about £350), or make up your own buying the body and lense seperately, it could be cheaper and you get to choose how powerful/expensive the lense is.

  6. i like canon rebel dSLR, cheap and highly functional.

  7. I have a Canon power shot A620 that I carry all the time and a D50 Nikon SLR for special. These cameras both take RAW format photos that give you the full quality of the pictures you take. Raw format is pixel by pixel compared to JPEG that makes blocks of pixels and reduces quality. Go to a camera store and try a few pictures as not all high meg cameras take quality pictures. Sometimes the lens can improve pictures more than how many mega pixels the camera will handle.
