  2. www.automatonsnowboard.com - small company but awesome boards. made in came factory as Rome. My brothers sponsored by them. (josh b) even though its small, its a great company. OH and they have a spring sale right now so its a good time to buy cause they are a little pricy. but they are AWESOME!!!!

  3. I'm a personal fan of Nitro boards. They make a good quality board. I've had one for 3 seasons with 40-60 days/nights a season use and it is still a good board. I did get a new one this year, also a Nitro. They are just fantastic. When I got the first one I found it was so much easier to initiate turns.

Depending on what type of riding you plan to do you might want one more geared to park or all mountain.

  4. if i were you, i'd make sure you get an allmountain freestyle board. one that you can do all day park, and then come back the next day and cruise the slopes or bowls.  burton makes some great boards for this.  chek out forum and rome 2.

  5. Stick to some of the top brands: Rome, Ride, Forum, Sapient, Option, Nitro, Lib Tech, Gnu....  all of these companies make great boards.  Pick what you can afford.  For someone at the intermediate level go for something with a mid-flex - not too soft and not to stiff.  Too soft would be a board that is slated as a "jib" or "street" board.  An all-mountain or park freestyle board is your best bet.  There are so many out there...
