I am an international student and i need summer housing for a month. Any ideas??

I am an international student in NC, USA. I'm doing research this summer but i need a place to stay for the 3weeks in summer before the program starts and the 2weeks after it before school reopens. Any legal, safe ideas? Please help me out.

Check the "For rent" ads in  your student newspaper. You might be able to sublet a room.

I don't know if you've already checked, but your university may have some resources to help you out. There might be some assistance available to you in finding a place to rent or if homestay is available perhaps your school can help arrange that for you. You can also stay in a hostel or check to see if any students are looking for a room mate (or put up an ad yourself to let students know you're looking). Good luck.
