1. Are you a US citizen? If so, get student loans. I am an American and was born in the U.S. and that's what I had to do. Both my parents are living and both made a decent salary. However, they still weren't able to pay for my eductaion. If you're able to get student loans, do it. I don't know why people say they can't afford to go to school. If they are able to apply for loans, they can get an education. Yeah you have to pay it back, but so what. What's more important to a person?

If you aren't a U.S. citizen, then I am not sure how you would be able to get money for school. But you might be able to search on the internet and see what is offered for people in your situation.

  2. Because your country is a former British (colony? territory?), your best bet is universities in England. In fact, some, such as the School of Oriental and African Studies, offer extensive financial help to promising students from countries in Africa that were once somehow British. You really should check into this, because it's a realistic possibility for you.

You'll have to do some research to see:

    1) if your degree is offered by these universities, and

    2) if they offer financial support to people from your country, but it will be worth your time.

So check the following universities as possibilities: Birkbeck, Goldsmiths, King's College London, the London Business School, the London School of Economics, Queen Mary, Royal Holloway, the School of Oriental and African Studies, University College London (UCL), and Imperial College London.
