  1. depends where your from and if you meet the requirements for an Australian visa

if your mum is going for buisness why is she applying for a tourist visa and not a buisness visa?

  2. First you need to be assessed for the type of visa you want, to be able to determine if you're eligible to acquire a tourist visa for Australia. See http://www.nationalvisas.com.au/visitor/... for further details.

An Electronic Travel Authority or ETA visa is much easier to acquire but it does not apply to your country, try the Visitor Short Stay (Subclass 676) Visa or if you have a family member living in Australia you can apply for Family Sponsored - Visitor Short Stay (Subclass 679) Visa.

  3. NO ONE here can answer whether you WILL or WILL NOT get  approved. The official who will be making that decision is the only one who can tell you.

If you did all the right thing - then you chances are very good.

    Cheers
