I want this job.... I have been a Corporate Travel Consultant for the past 14 years and before that worked at a hotel for about a year 1/2 doing weddings/ parties/contracts... I was the event coordinator.. I do not have that on my resume because it would be 2 pages.I emailed my resume for a job at a college that the title is called travel/purchasing coordinator but wants all the qualifications of a corporate travel agent that works with airlines/hotels/ car rentals/ and events which I have .... but there is some called trends for assigned commodities... solicits bids, analyze quotations received and selects or recommends purchases... create purchase orders??? what does this mean... when it also has all the duties of a corporate travel agent .... I would love this new change of career but should I research these duties on line to get a better idea? Any help I would appreciate?
