I am applying for a job with the NHS, what does it mean when they ask what Grade of work I was at previously?

  1. Were you a manger, a supervisor, that kind of grade


  2. If you are a qualified health care professional, then you are on a graded or 'banded' pay scale. So they are really asking what Grade you were payed at.    

  3. That applies if you have previously worked for the NHS otherwise state your company position eg carer, nurse etc
