I am arriving at terminal 5 at o'hare airport chicago should i carry bags to terminal 1?

I am arriving at terminal 5 and have to board UAL flight at terminal 1 to buffalo..should i carry the luggage myself to terminal 1 or the airline staff will transfer them at terminal 5 itself??

If you are going to board a contecting flt., the airline will take care of it.  If these are 2 separate flts on different airlines have the redcap do it when you arrive at your home airport.  There is a free shuttle at O'Hare from terminal to terminal.  You can take your bags on it if you want.

If you did this yourself you would have to go downstairs to baggage pick up your bags, then go to the next check in desk, check in your bags again, then go back through security, then to your next gate.

When you check in to your first plane make sure they know you will be transferring to another plane and have your luggage sent through

NO, trust me on this one. If you do, at least get a cart. (depending on what you're carrying)

O' hare is a BIG place, trust me, fly in there at least once a month.

If this is a connecting flight, you don't have to worry about it anyway.
