I am asking this question as a potentional user not repairer of...?

Question

the washer and dryer that are being left by the previous homeowner in our new home. I didn't do a lot of delfving into the quality, but there was a LOT of noticeable rust. I want new ones, but DH wants to list them on craigslist. We are arguing over how much to even price them for because the thougt of a washer rusting, even on the outside, turns me off.

What do you think? Will anyone buy these?

Spend 2 bucks spray painting it white with an appliance paint and sell it for 30 - 50 bucks each!  I mean, as long as they are still in working order.

I don't think you would get a lot of money even if they won't rusted. Why not just put them on the curb - should be gone by morning.
