  1. If there is anything you want to do. Do it now. Take a chance! It will all work out OK. Don't say if I had only done this or that. Just do it! I'm telling you. It will be OK!

  2. everybody goes through it.  if you've got family try moving to a spot where they're at.  like if you've got an aunt you know well who lives in washington state, check out the job scene there--ask 'em to move in for a few months till you get on your feet.  if that's not good, google jobs online that will give you an upfront fee or signing bonus (yes, like pro athletes, they're out there) to help you get right before you get left.  if neither of these are options it's really all up to you.  for a long time after school i really wondered what i wanted to do and there is absolutely no straight answer on how to find out what's right for you.  it took me a long time to find out what i was good at and what i loved.  for some people those might never be the same thing but for me it was.  you may have to get a job that you don't like that pays well (or not so well) until you can pull yourself up by your bootstraps.  there's an old saying--"we do what we must to do what we want."  i think that's really cool because it may take you YEARS to figure out what you really want to be but you've got to survive in the meantime. i'm not saying don't take risks while you're young but remember this above all, take care of yourself first and i guarantee you that in time you will find what you  LOVE to do as long as you don't get complacent and forget that you're not just here to be a part of society--you're here to better it---and you will make that your calling in life.  good luck and God bless you.

  3. IT Jobs-

  4. I know how you feel.  I graduated in 2005 with a BA and had no job offerings.  I work at a retail place unrelated to my degree.  You are not the only one.

  5.    If i were you I'll do some research about opportunities outside the country..... while you're doing that get a job first in order to save up some money and get your life going..... figure it out what you really want to do.... I'm not sure what your major was but im pretty sure your a smart person..... and dont be afraid to ask to those people that you think inspired you.... I'm sure you'll do fine.... I'm actually in Pharmacy school right now..... my goal is to retire as early as possible so that i could enjoy my money and spend more time with my future family (crossing my fingers!) ...... Good Luck.....

  6. Get two jobs and don't own a car -- bike or bus to your jobs.  Don't work less than 60 hours a week, so that you won't have time to spend the money you're making.  Save up $500 - $1000 per month while applying for overseas jobs.  By the end of 12 months, you'll be ready to jet.

I did this with coffee shop and office secretary jobs, they didn't pay much money, but it didn't matter.  Not owning a car is the key to being able to save money.

I ADORE Susan Griffith's "Work Your Way Around the World" http://www.amazon.com/Work-Your-Around-W...

    and Dave's ESL cafe  http://www.eslcafe.com/

These are the only resources you'll need, themselves being collections of resources.

  7. I once didn't know what to do, but not after graduation.

After graduation, I thought I know what to do, I sent resumes to many, eventually, worked in a company.

After working a few years and still not having much money, I felt I did not know what to do. I wanted to try to work in other countries too and I did try to change work in other country. But in the end, I realise that to be happy, one need to have patience and courage and it doesn't matter where I am.

So I just keep doing my best all the time now.

  8. start putting resumes, man... that doesnt cost anything..

  9. I got OLD while I dreamt.

  10. Lol, like Crossroads? You know, the movie Crossroads with Britney Spears.

  11. I did. I worked my *** off seven days a week for about 9 months...and then I upped and moved.

  12. Have you ever considered teaching abroad, joining the peace corps or volunteering in other nations? I think this may be a great opportunity to try something similiar to this. They normally pay you wages and provide housing for teaching and peace corps. You can work odd jobs for a while until you save up a few dollars for pocket money to last you while your transitioning. I think you should google it and look into it. It will help you decide what you want to do in terms of your career, give you a broader perspective of the world and many companies also find this kind of experience valuable.

    Good luck!

  13. This guy was in a similar situation to you. Now he's in Brazil and living like a lord.

  14. where are u from ? if ur from us or uk or australia or these kind of countries then go to Pakistan u will make huge amount of money

  15. work at a job here for awhile, save money, and then if you're still at a crossroad, you'll have the resources to do what you'd like

  16. Well, first of all...I'd say find a job and save some money. Get a stable employment history for like a year or so. Then if you move to another country...you'll have a reference and work history to go with your degree. Oh yeah, and money to eat and live. :-)
