  1. play. do fun things i babysitted a 4 year old before.

  2. Play bored games...watch a film or make stuff (arts and crafts)

  3. Get out some coloring books and the crayons, play games, go for a walk or to the park. Watch cartoons together. Play with a ball outside. There are alot of things you can do with a 4 yr.old. Don't be scared if you never dealt with kids before. You were a kid once to, just go back to your childhood days and do that.

  4. My 4 year old loves to play any kind of game that involves water (filling and emptying cups, making a small pool in the tab for her dolls, pretend cooking...). Why not try it?

  5. PLAY !! lol

Read books... go to the library & check some out. (they have storytime find out when)

Go swimming if you have a place that you can & have parents permission .... be sure to use sun block & floaties or life jacket if they can't swim.

Go on a Nature walk & look for certains trees, leaves bugs etc....

    Bake cookies/cake

If its a girl paint toe nails & finger nails

    Watch a movie

Make a "tent" in the house with a blanket draped across the table.

  6. play games. go to the park

  7. read book, color or finger paint.. Blocks and puzzles are fun at that age.   see who can build the biggest tower.  treasure hunts are fun if you can play outside.  go on  a nature walk or collect bugs and research them to find out what they are.  go to the zoo or park or if you have to stay at home play  on their swing set.  hotwheel cars are fun for boys and girls love playing baby dolls with strollers and bottles.  there are a million things find out from mom or the child them self what they would like to do.

  8. i am babysitting a four year old tomoro too, play play dough, or a board game, let them win, color, play dolls, or dress up if its a girl,, if its a boy, play superheros, and with action figuire dolls.

  9. Boy or girl?  A girl would love to color, read books, pretend, play dress up, etc.  A boy would love to play outside, like kickball or t-ball, ride scooter, play in the dirt with trucks, etc.

  10. A lot of this will be up to the 4yr old.  By this stage they are able to do most things by themselves.  A few back-up activities would be your best bet.  Just don't sit in front of the tv all day or night.

  11. Just kick it with him /her try to think of kid  stuff to do. Wheres the nearsest playground. Ill assume you dont have kids. So I must tell you be  very attentive at the playground. kids can get hurt in a blink of an eye.Take him/her to Mcdonalds order a plain sundae its a dollar. Make a trip out of it . Take him/her to one with a play area. The library is always good. Childrens movies got any? Cable? Noggin, Nick jr, Pbs Kids, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network. Go for walks got a stroller? Walk to the places I suggested if theyre close enough and it is safe to do so. Also just talk to him/her. Make your house kid friendly. Put up anything they can hurt themselves with.
