  1. A one year old should sleep through the night but if they have a babysitter they might be out of their routine and it's a good possibility that the baby could get up in the middle of the night, if that happens you should just calmly try to soothe them back to sleep by rocking them, softly patting their back or softly singing to them. If they are inconsolable and they still have a bottle or a pacifier try that! Sometimes babies have a special blanket they like so try that too. But don't leave the bottle in the bed with them. Good luck!

  2. Generally they sleep through the night unless they are teething.  I have a one year old and if his gums are bothering him he will almost always get up around midnight.  He goes back to sleep though with a little tylenol (kicks in about 20 minutes later).

  3. Sleeps through the night if you fallow the routine the parents usually do.

Make sure to tell them mommy and daddy will be home when they wake up :)
