Wear a loose, wrinkled white shirt that is unbuttoned about half way, a bandanna tied around your head, and loose pants preferably something like calf-length sweatpants but cutoff jeans (cut to the calf) could also work. That's just what I picture in my head though...

If you don't have a complete pirate outfit left over from previous Halloweens or anything, I think just one item would be fine, just to get in the spirit. An eye patch? A fake parrot on your shoulder? A hat? Bandana? Skull themed apparel is hot these days too. I bet you could find a small pirate item at the dollar store or borrow from a friend.
