Can you tell me please is this normal to have this happen. He maybe has my chin and my fingers but I am confused at this red hair. Where does it come from please?

  1. Baby change very much in the First few months mostly the 1st 3. It is normal for the eyes most babies are born with blue eyes. The hair may be from a very far back rrelative My nephew is full black but was born with white skin blue eyes and red hair because his fathers great great grandmother was irish. He is now very dark brown eyes and sometimes in the summer his hair still turns a little red. If you are questioning the baby get a dna test.

  2. Hi ;) would any of you two have ancesters, even far far away, who were white? that could be just that :D

  3. Baby's hair changes rapidly as does eye color.  Most babies are born with blue-ish eyes that lighten to the real color as their eyes develop.  The baby hair can also change darkening and getting thicker with time.  My first boy was born with black hair, by 3 months it had all turned to blonde.  My second was also born with black hair that lightened to a medium brown.

Depending on genetics on your side, and her side.  The baby could look very different for a time, before displaying features like either of you.  Of course if you are still in doubt there are home DNA test kits that retail for around $100 and are 99.99% accurate.

  4. CONGRATS! there could be red hair and blue eyes way back in the family somewhere. it happens! my friends is as whit as can be blonde with chestnut brown eyes and her husband is asain, their daughter is so beautiful. Red hair, blue,  eyes and freckles. but she does have features from both parents!

  5. Hi!

It's amazing how some genes can just pop up out of nowhere.  If someone in your or her family had red hair (it could go back generations!), then there is a chance your child could too!

Also remember that babies tend to start out with lighter skin and blue eyes.  Their early hair colour can also change quite a bit.  I would wait a few months and see what happens!!

    Congrats!

  6. I second the Maury show idea. :)

  7. Does he look like the mail man?  ;)

    jk jk

Babies change SO much in the first few weeks.....wait it out and you will see the changes...and  a lot of babies are born with blue eyes believe it or not, then they change!

  8. wow I would do a dna test.

  9. My friend is arabic her baby is blonde with blue eye it can be a (i think its called) recessive gene

  10. well asian people have freckles and the blue eyes will change every1 is born with blue eyes, and i am kinda confused with the red hair u know that red hair is no more its 1 for every 100 births!!!! you should be excited but i have no clue where it came from!!! lol

  11. this may be just a gene that you and your wife are carrying but if you are not sur if the baby is yours then take a DNA test. it does sound unusual to me but i know a black couple that had 2 kids that were born white and still are something to do with cross gene mutation. but the only thing that is going to put yor mind at rest is a DNA test

  12. Are you serious ?

Go to the Maury Show !

  13. All babies look different there first weeks of life... If it doesnt look like you at all in the next few months... you may have some questions to be asked!

Black people and asians can have freckles...

  14. If she is 100% Asian, then the baby would have look more Asian, period.  Asians have very dominant genes.  No matter who they have children with, the child will ALWAYS have predominantly Asian features.  Your story is very unbelievable to me.  Nice try though.

  15. I have googled this and found a few articles but largely pertaining to white couples with black babies and vice versa....the link I've posted is the thread in response to a similar question posted on here...seems it's more common than you'd think...congratulations BTW xx

  16. A spontaneous mutation can cause a loss of pigment - perfectly normal.

  17. I learned in a college course I took once, that the gene for red hair works differently and that if one of your parents has red hair the child will always have some kind of red in their hair, but that any child can be born with red hair randomly. I don't remember why he said this happens, but my sister and I both have red hair and both of our parents have dark brown hair.
