I am black belt 2nd Dan, i can beat my teacher in a battle but a 11 year old yellow belt kicks my ***! help?

Question

I am Black belt 2nd dan in my class at thew age of 16. i also do ninjusu, jeujeuse, dajusue and tusue. i easly beat my teacher in a battle and next year startin my own class. but in my class there is this yellow belt 11 year old boy with kicks my *** every time we fight. he moves so quick my eyes do seem to follow him.

anyone go any suggestions. on how to beat him

its obvious you are over looking him.  You have involved ur mind so much into the color of his belt, that you have forgotten how to fight.  This is a very common mistake, im am suprised ur teacher allowed you to have your black belt if you are still making this mistake.

When i spar against someone extremely  fast i use a technique that is extremely frowned upon but seems to work for me. What i do is: that when he comes at me swinging and kicking i stay out of his striking range ( some call this running away) by backing up continuously until he tires, gets frustrated or makes a mistake, ( i am fighting  my fight and not his) than i let him have it.  

This is my strategy if he's faster than me,  I'm not gonna make it easy for him to hit me by staying  too close or by trying to land one first.

Hope this can work for you if not i don't know what to tell you that you don't already know.

Keep in mind that "11 years old" doesn't always mean the kid is 5' 110lbs.

Some 11 year olds can be nearly six foot and almost 180lbs.

Therefore, I can tell you that sometimes the belt color doesn't mean much, it is the person in the uniform that matters.
