I am booking a Holiday to Skopelos in Greece can any one suggest the best hotels and areas of the Island?

I was in Skopelos this summer, if you will rent a bike or car i suggest you to stay in Ag.Kostantinos or Glyfoneri. From there the center of Skopelos is about 10 min walk or by car 2 min drive. I stay in Panorama hotel and i reccomend it to everyone.

Best beaches are: Milia, Kastani, Stafilos, Ag.Ioannis

Skopelos Village is a good standard and about a 10 minute level walk into the town. The beach is more problematic,because although it is on the sea front there is no great beach in the near vicinity. Instead the hotel pool area is the best option.However, if you enjoy walking there are some beautiful walks to get you to some decent beaches in say 45 minutes. Alternatively, getting a local bus or taxi from the town to one of the village beaches further up the coast is easy enough.

  I  went there last year on a day trip from skiathos (they where filming mama mia )if I where you I would book to go to skiathos really good beaches and more to see  plenty of trips to skopolos about 4 miles away

nothing going on there  I think you would be best to try skiathos better scenery etc  

                 have a good holiday where ever you go anyway
