  1. It is the caffeine and black tea can also raise your blood sugar level. The only thing you can test on your meter is your blood.  I'm type 2 diabetic (10 years).

  2. Um, usually there's a little chart on the product that says all that stuff...isn't there?

  3. test the creamer. i am not 100% sure. it may be something else cauing it???? this is very difficult and i wish i could help.

  4. Are you absolutely certain it's coffee consumption.  Got to look at the whole diet. . .

  5. creamers are filled w/fats 3grams a tesp. does not sound high but think about it .fats break down to sugar.use milk not as bad. test your blood before you have the coffee then 30 mins after .i use french va. flavor and its sugar free but it takes mine up. don't put anything but blood on meter.or you will be needing new one.wash your hands before testing if you have any thing  on your finger it will mess up the readings.

  6. Milk has lactose.  Anything with the -ose suffix is a sugar.  I don't know how much you're putting in your coffee - or maybe you're having several cups?  But that could be the culprit. Check your creamer and your coffee for the amount of carbohydrates they contain.
