  1. no difference. just buy whatever tv. the Hz doesnt matter,

  2. 120hz make a BIG difference, how big, hmmm... i will go with 2X as fast of motion, lol. i will guess that what ever 120hz that guy saw, the 120hz feature was turned off or the tv was getting a poor signal.

Is motion a concern for you, if so, go 120hz. You seem set on lcd, which is fine ( i say this because plasma is better w/motion) but think about this when it comes to 120hz.

a 1080p LCD screen at 60hz will only process and show 330 of its lines in motion. a 120hz lcd 1080p screen will show................. you guessed it, 660 line in motion. Much better speed. so if lcd is your cup of tea but you like action or sports, go 120hz

  3. Contrary to what the last person said....THERE IS A DIFFERENCE. Have you seen a 120hz TV compared to anormal 60hz? The motion enhancement on the 120hz tvs is amazing. Especially if you plan on getting a Blu-ray player, it makes the images pop out of the screen! If you can afford it, I definately would recommend you buy the 120hz one.
