  1. you will need parts

  2. HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) cable is to be used with an equipment like Blue ray Players. Nowadays some models of Desktop computer boards,Laptops and Dish TV Receivers also comes with HDMI outputs.

The signal is digital in HDMI and the performance is superb.

For other cables just look at the manual of TV.

  3. each device connect to the tv would require one.. so math is pretty easy.. inspiretech sell a decent one

  4. To connect HD cable boxes, you want an HDMI 1.3a cable....

    http://www.monoprice.com

Sells them at low prices, and boy are they pretty !

For OLDER DVD players without the HDMI jack on them you want a nice set of mid-priced COMPONENT CABLES....Not MONSTER...that's way too much jack for too little improvement over Belden and Belkin cables....

Once again, Monoprice has them, just use their search engine....

Use HDMI as much as possible, and then choose the COMPONENT connections if you don't have HDMI as an output on your devices.....

  5. If you are using an antenna your TV will pick up all the channels with no extra cords. You can also go with a DVD recorder with a digital/analog tuner allows for tuning of analog

or digital channels from over the air, or cable to pick up stations. DVD records are very easy to use & have a great picture. Make sure it comes with a HDMI plug to connect to your TV. You will need to buy the HDMI cord for best picture.

If you are on satalite you won't need to change anything, but will need to buy the HDMI cord for best picture. This will go from the receiver to the TV. If you are on cable you need to call them & see if they are going 100% digital. This maybe hard because cable companies do not want you to know that they convert the digital signal to analog & always have. If you buy a HDTV it will magnify the bad picture you receive from cable.
